Neither scenario is good. We see a similar situation at QB, with KB's unwillingness to put Rygol in. Even when McCloud is performing abysmally, he refuses to put him in, or he does it so late that it's irrelevant. Maybe it's just growing pains, but I can't help but feel it's a trend. Pretty concerning that he feels the backups at these positions are apparently so bad, that he has to modify the scheme away from what has been working, only for it to not work anyways, AND then the backups don't get work in the scheme that has shown success. Also there was plenty of opportunity for McCloud to tuck it and run...he did that last week and kinda stopped this week...frustrating...

Weren't we missing the 2nd tight end, Mathis, for that game?

Edit: And I'm not in this for the long haul today. Busy day for this retired guy. Edited November 12, 2019 by CousinRicky

Oh Bell is dead meat after 1 year but Strong gets 3 years to suck. Gotcha. Nice to know you're being fair and impartial.

It’s not binary they both can suck at the same time and when you sign onto a staff that is already sucking you get less time, that’s life and had he had any other options he would have taken a safer choice. Gotcha. Nice to know you're being fair and impartial. I never wanted strong in the first place. he sucked at his last job. haven't been overly impressed with Bell. I'm sure he could work out somewhere. personally I prefer an offense that is based around read option plays with a passing component . an offense like that is easier to find the personnel as it doesn't require a sophisticated blocking scheme and often times athletes as QBs are overlooked.
