History and our first year performance let’s us know but people can fantasize all they like, want to bet on if his next job is better than this one?

I'm just going to put this little tidbit of history here. Shows that he has excelled at EVERY opportunity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerwin_Bell

I will also agree that he sucked mightily here at USF.

I understand what your saying, but they seem to me to be the best options for us considering everything that they would bring including recruiting.  Maybe they are smart enough to adapt our offense to our players.

If not them, who would be your choice then?  Remember we are USF, our options are not limitless!

I would be content with KB as the head coach and Joe Brady as OC. I'm sure bigger names will go after Brady though. In order to have a chance of getting him, we'd probably have to throw the head coaching job at him, which isn't going to happen.

I meant our history with people that were going to miracle us to a pro style offense, I completely accept that KB is a nice little DIIII coach.

Jacksonville University Just dropped the entire football program that’s the Kerwin Bell effect after 4 years of him being gone. When he was there they were beating teams like old dominion and Delaware in fcs! Before Kb got there they had 0 winning seasons. He won conference championship in year 2 and won 2 more in his time there. Left the program after going 9 and 2 , 9 and 2 his last 2 years. Now the program is gone since he’s gone. Dude knows how to build a program! https://judolphins.com/news/2019/12/3/jacksonville-university-discontinues-football.aspx

Wow...I can’t believe they did that. KB must have seen the writing on the wall. Stop football so you can put the money into women’s water polo...this is what happens when nerds run a university

Bold Prediction -

HC: Tony Elliott

OC: Brandon Streeter

DC: Todd Bates

I genuinely believe Tony Elliott would be an absolute homerun hire.

I believe they just didn't renew him. If I understand correctly, KB didn't want to leave.

There was a disagreement about him wanting them to spend more money on football, grow the program and JU wanting to go in the opposite direction and cut costs.

Will VPMK allow the new HC to choose his own coaches?

Ive seen a lot of people say this on here and twitter, but realistically thats just not true.  From 2005-2009 USF lost a total of 24 games in 5 years.  Of those 24, half (12) were against teams that finished the year ranked.  And of those 24, only 3 losses came against teams with losing records.  2 of those ( 5-6 PITT & 5-6 UConn) came in 2005 when we were just a 6-6 team and first year in the Big East.  The only "bad" losses really were maybe in 2006 against 6-6 Kansas (and that was on the road) and 2008 against 5-7 Louisville.  Our schedules were just much more difficult back then.
