Possible CCS Replacements

He coached on an interim basis when Paul Pasqualoni got canned.

If we're gauging the viability for candidates based on how well they did at UCONN, how about:

• Candidate A went 43 - 19 with two conference titles and a NY6 bowl berth over his final four years with the Huskies.
   
• Candidate Bs career highlights include 34 wins with UCONN, reaching the FCS playoff quarterfinals, and a #9 ranking.

The best part is both of these options are also very affordable. I'm sure Randy Edsall is going to be fired anytime now and Skip Holtz is only making $800,000 / yr at Louisiana Tech.

I know there is a group of Leavitt fanatics but now we have TJ Weist homers after he coached one game? Not to mention didn’t Taggart call all the plays so what had TJ to merit this job?

By no means was TJ’s stint at UConn a huge success, but that team was 0-4 when he took over. He won the final 3 games of the season. 

Im mostly interested in the fact that he’s been apart of the 2016 USF and current Baltimore Ravens offense. I’m a firm believer that we need to be focused on dual threat QBs and skill players with speed, even if undersized. Given his recent stops, I think his thoughts might align there.

If CCS is fired after the ucf game big IF.  Then we have to think the way Mike Kelly would think.  

Doesnt he have alot of history and ties to the ACC?  How about the Clemson OC Jeff Scott.  Been the best program in the land last couple years.  He would be fine with me.....I think somebody else already mentioned him.

Lol sad but true. I just don’t see anyone that will be available after this season. The safe bet would be to promote KB to HC if CCS leaves.

lol yes. Come to USF where we are still trying to break ground on an IPF. We pay tons or rent for using an off campus stadium that has a big pirate ship. We have about 15K in actual attendance. We have little or no tradition. We are stuck in the AAC. We only gave our last coaching staff one losing season and they had 3 full years. What is not to love ?
