I would hope Kelly could put a better pitch together than that, otherwise why is he the AD, err...VP of Athletics.

lol I’m sure he will. I was only pointing out some of our negatives. Im sure he can point out the positives like the weather, airport, USF playing in an NFL Super Bowl stadium, recruiting hot bed, being the first coach to win a conference title at USF. I’m sure there will be good candidates

not sure why people think this job is so undesirable. many think it's one of the top jobs outside of the power 5. perfect opportunity to show yourself for a bigger job.

A strong finish is important, especially against UCF considering that’s how the Bulls are measured locally. In terms of replacements, it would be an ideal market for USF to open, as it’d be one of the most attractive jobs available:

Lol sad but true. I just don’t see anyone that will be available after this season. The safe bet would be to promote KB to HC if CCS leaves.

yeah real safe....let's hire an OC from one of the worst offenses in the country.

If CCS is fired after the ucf game big IF.  Then we have to think the way Mike Kelly would think.

Doesnt he have alot of history and ties to the ACC?  How about the Clemson OC Jeff Scott.  Been the best program in the land last couple years.  He would be fine with me.....I think somebody else already mentioned him.

that's who I wanted last time and I still think he would be a great match.

The question is does Jeff Scott have his BS degree?

lol yes. Come to USF where we are still trying to break ground on an IPF. We pay tons or rent for using an off campus stadium that has a big pirate ship. We have about 15K in actual attendance. We have little or no tradition. We are stuck in the AAC. We only gave our last coaching staff one losing season and they had 3 full years. What is not to love ?

Not sure tons is the right word.  If we were paying tons it would be cheaper to build an OCS.  As for actual attendance, in USF's case it really doesn't matter much.  It is the number of season tickets sold that matters since we don't get concession and parking money.  Of course we do get hurt on walk up ticket sales.

No pro style blocking.

Did not get fired from their last job.

High energy.

from paper

But if these are the waning moments of a brief Bell era, the legendary former Gators quarterback is falling on his figurative sword. Which is to say, his faith in his pro-style offense remains sturdy as ever.
