It is time to start discussing CCS replacements.

1) young up & coming coordinators

2) retreads (Taggart, Spurrier, Leavitt, Randy Shannon)

3) rehabs (Art Briles, Hugh Freeze)

4) Already on Staff

5) Hot Coach from a lower level G-5 Team.

and what is of most importance? Offensive or Defensive minded or a Florida recruiting specialist

So many questions, so few answers. Let the healing begin.

If you have ever spoken to a member of this staff much less are one of them you should automatically disqualified from consideration.

1) young up & coming coordinators - YES, maybe

2) retreads (Taggart - Had his shot(Dump USF once shame on you, dump USF twice, shame on USF), Spurrier - Maybe, Leavitt - Will never happen, Randy Shannon - (Has already proven to be a DC, nothing higher)

3) NO! rehabs (Art Briles, Hugh Freeze) NO! REHABS!

4) Already on Staff - Which unit has shown progress this year?

5) Hot Coach from a lower level G-5 Team. - YES, maybe

and what is of most importance? Offensive or Defensive minded or a Florida recruiting specialist - Competence is most important

So many questions, so few answers. Let the healing begin.

I have not allowed myself to believe there will be a significant change (replacing entire coaching staff) coming at season's end. If Kelly pulls off a change, that would be impressive. If he announces a change, they might as well fork out a little more money and announce that they will go ahead and move forward on the IPF.

Sadly I think one of two things happens:

A) The entire staff comes back or maybe a couple of minor changes are made like replacing the special teams coach. That would be a tough sell.

B) They fire CCS and promote someone already on staff on the cheap. Specifically King (as a figurehead) or Bell (claiming his previous head coaching experience). Some fans would probably be placated by that and I have now noticed the fanboys at TDS are lobbying for that latter option.

I don't think either option is good long term. That said the drama of the situation is actually more interesting than the games on the field so there's that.

young hungry OC who has connections to this state. one who has the ability to adapt his offense to the talent available but who can recruit to and run a read option spread offense. one who has coached under a successful HC at a big program so he knows how to run a successful organization.

Jeff Scott(Clemson co-oc)  was my first choice last time. He'd be my #1 pick again.

lol at spurrier. guy is 74 years old. we don't need a coach who has to take naps every afternoon.
