Critiquing Joey Knight

I find it ridiculously easy to accidentally like something when browsing via phone. You don't have to be following someone either, could just be clicking into tweets. Honestly, the more attention you all give this and continually harass him on twitter is only going to cause more blowback, because it gains attention. Also, some of the things that USF fans tweet him is extremely low class, regardless of what his slant may be...

Some of the polarization you see in society today is that people are gravitating toward news sources that match their general opinions and not getting all sides of an issue.  We need news, good and bad, so we can understand all sides of issues.  The athletic department should give us the good news.  JK's job is to give us the news.  If the program is clean and everyone does their job, that news will be generally good.  My criticism with local press has been with a lack of news in regard to USF, sports or otherwise.

There's a reason the constitution gives special treatment to the press.  My fear is the press it protects is going away.

How is the press that the constitution protects going away?  Do you mean honest journalism? 

The problem we have now is lack of trust in any of that press.  Someone owns it, and is pushing their own agenda rather than just the facts.

That's exactly what I mean.   Agendas should be limited to the editorial pages and not, as we see now, embedded in the "news" itself.

i'm not sure that there has ever really been a trustworthy press. Yellow journalism goes back a very long time.

My office at HCC looks better than his...but we’ve both won the same amount of national championships in football.
