We really really really need for the season to start so we have some real issues to get irritated about.

I can do without another 4 months of HB Dive "jokes" from the masses as we put up another record breaking offensive season.

The game that broke the streak of scoring 30+ points a game. Only scored 24 points and averaged 2.5 yards per carry. People can get mad that some complain about it all they want but the offense was vanilla against a team that we should have had no problem beating.

We had trouble beating a lot worse team in Tulane the week before so I'm not sure where the logic comes from that Houston was going to be a cakewalk .... and Q was 23/38 for 325 yds which is hardly what I'd call vanilla. What was vanilla, ie strictly run oriented, was our last scoring drive, which is kind of understandable because of milking the clock. The mistake there, IMO, was that QF only ran the ball once, the first play in the drive. Gilbert should have more involved him at that crunch time ... but I also don't remember if any of those runs later were run options where Q made the choice.

Well don't stop with Tulane.  We can look to the skating by against Stony Brook and later against the powerhouse Tulsa Hurricanes.  At least Tulane and San Jose St were road games.   Bottom line is that skating by bit us in the ass against Houston.  And of course we ended up losing to our "rival", exciting game but we still didn't get the job done. It's great that we put up some gaudy numbers, but we did have our most dynamic offensive player at the helm and we were primed to do what ucf did and fell short.
