But then how would our receivers drop the balls because of the changes in spin?

I don't really care who starts but I'm fairly certain about Cades ability to throw against FAMU with as much success as we saw last night along with gaining some rushing yards. While I was impressed at times it wasnt a wow game by no means. I still think with the sample size the coaches are having a hard time with the decision. No one has separated themselves to the point he's willing to name them the starter and I understand. It's good to have some depth at the position.

With that said I am least impressed with Marsh. Good to get him some reps but I think Cade could used them as well. I think if there was a depth chart for QBs Cade would have a sizable lead over the the third string at this point when not competing for the starting position.

If our coach can't figure out the starting qb by now, then we need a coach that can

I'm not really buying that excuse per se, but I am tired of the qb carousel

Oh I’m past over it. Pick any plan we think gives us the best hope and then start improving in whatever area we can, we seem to love having excuses much more than we like coming up with any solutions.

Stats looked decent even with all the drops.
Weaver had one bounce off his hands in the end zone, would have been an incredible catch but the ball placement was great.

Jimmy dropped 2 and Brinkman dropped 1.

QB play and play calling we’re fine, need better WR play. Hope Latrell is okay

In talking with BJ he said that they play differently in practice week to week.  I'll trust his and Scott's judgement for now.

Feel free to trust whatever judgement you want, but if they can't figure out their starting qb by now they shouldn't be coaching.

Marsh only had 3 attempts. not sure that makes much of a difference.McClain gets hurt there and everybody complains that he shouldn't have been in.

More important for Mcclain to get first team reps in practice.

I'm pretty sure they figured it out. Looks like McClain is the guy. True freshman that they didn't throw to the wolves against two P4 programs..... what were they thinking

Williams knee didnt look good on the play he got hurt. Wouldn't doubt if he is out for some time, maybe the season
