We got three who are decent...the others? Let’s just say they need to be coached up, up, up.

We lost on the road to a Temple team that won the conference that year, and lost to Dalvin Cook and #13 FSU....that's it. 11-2 record, and you're saying "No Thanks!". Just curious, who do you want here?

C'mon man. He got another job, and we did win that bowl game....which if I remember correctly, we were favored in....

Pretty sure we were favored vs McNeese State too.

with Matt Floyd as our starting QB

45% completion 75 yards and 2 picks

McNeese State finished 10-3 (ranked #11) that year and made the FCS playoffs

And your point?  Mine was just because you are favored it doesn't mean you win a game. He intimated that we were favored in a bowl game when Taggart left and that we would have won if he were there.  I'm not 100% convinced of that and, of course, we'll never know.

Is this when we go through the roster and show what Holtz left? That feels extremely relevant to the point....

I agree that I would not be surprised if CWT would of found a way til lose that bowl game. The year before that when he got embarrassed in the Miami Beach Bowl was very telling. I don’t think people even realize how bad of a big game coach CWT really was.

What does the Miami Beach Bowl have to do with CWT supposedly being a bad big game coach?

Lol you are right. He was probably shopping for another job during that time so I don’t think he cared if we won or lost that bowl game tbh

I heard that he actually interviewed for two jobs prior to Oregon without USF Athletics knowing. Is this common in the coaching world? I know it is in the professional world.
