Yeah he's good.  Good investment.  He can always rent it out to 36 socialite millennials to take selfies.  There was an article yesterday that says he gets 5 mil this year.  Not sure how much Bayshore mansions cost though.

3.2M I believe

Last week, I would have said no, not the worst era, because Skip did so many more goofier things.  Then again, the administration made it a horrible new era.  Strong, however, seems to be going the same direction.  I guess coaches reach a point of apathy and these silly things start happening.  I think we're on that path.  It's now just about the contract.  Not the players.  Not the program. Not the fans.

Lol at this rate he is gonna be so **** rich from investing in real estate. Wonder how much he will sell his new home in Tampa if he is no longer the coach?? I guess I should feel happy for him lol

Really disconcerting to read the twitterati saying that he's not mailing it in, that he's really trying...

I hope his efforts begin to produce a winning program soon....

Holtz Era -

2010     8 wins   5 Losses,   Meineke Car Care Bowl-W
2011     5 Wins   7  Losses No Bowl
2012     3 Wins 9 Losses NO Bowl

Strong Era -

2017    10 wins  2  Losses,  Birmingham  Bowl victory over Texas Tech  - THIS IS OUR 2nd EVER 10 win season. Not even CJL has a 10 win season.

2018    7 Wins  6 Losses   Gasparilla Bowl - Loss
2019    South Florida    3–4  and the rest of the season TBD

I get it, you guys hate CCS, but please keep your arguments logical. Even if we lose the rest of the games this season, CCS still had a waaay better coaching career at USF than Holtz. This whole thread is just too **** emotional and lacks any logic.

Holtz actually played in the Big East against better teams (Ball State excluded)

2017  Houston game- run up the middle on the best NT around.---  Coaching; 4th and forever- Coaching

CJL teams  played against Auburn, WVA, Pitt, Louisville, etc- not the likes of Tulsa, Tulane,

Just skimming through the threads of white noise that it's become in here and then came across that. That was most certainly not coaching. If I recall correctly, the Cougar receiver had 2 or 3 Bulls around him and they just didn't make the play. What it was was just another example of opposing team's wr's making the tough catch for their qb ....... something we haven't seen enough of around here since Huey Whittaker.

I didn't know there was an earned run average in football but ours has to be pretty bad this year.
