It's a little early for my predictions but I must say I like our chances better now that the other guys just lost their starting QB, they'll have to rely on a grad transfer or a true freshman now.

The ND grad transfer was likely going to beat out Mack anyways, if he goes down they won’t have anymore viable replacements up their ass, they will be starting someone with no college level experience.  I am currently sticking  pins in my Wimbush voodoo doll as we speak.  Now that I think of it, we are in the same spot, at least as far as experience goes.

It must be nice to have three viable QBs on the roster at one time. I think the only time we had two was when Grothe went down and was replaced by Daniels, more than half the time we haven’t even had one qb and three QBs would be only one less than all the good QBs we have had in the entire history of the program.

Um...he didnt slow down the offense at all. The offense went very fast....unfortunately we could never get past 10 yards, but there was nothing slow about the offense.

I know right... he never walked through the door saying he would slow down the offense.  They got all that from him saying there may be times when he may need the offense to slow down and take time off the clock.  From that everyone's imagination ran wild.
