Based on? Pressure? They just ran out a coach that went to a National Championship game in 2014.

The biggest issue in Oregon is you can't drive 10 miles and find 5 guys that could start in D-I football.

Nike has evened that playing field some facilities, unique uniforms, promotion, but Oregon was bad for decades because there isn't a talent base around the school.

Gainesville is actually a pretty decent place. A handful of my classmates from Miami stayed there after graduation. Ive never been to Eugene, but i give Gainesville the edge in better weather lol

Why would someone live in Gainesville? Are there high tech companies or big firms there (serious question)?

Never been to Oregon, but I did live in Gainesville for a couple years.  Gainesville is actually a very nice place to live.

Florida is one of the bigger research schools in the country. I'm fairly certain that's probably the majority of the residents work.
