Antigua had prior head coaching experience .... every USF MBB head coach USF has had prior head coaching experience. Maybe it's time to give someone without any a shot (unless you go with Nohra). Couldn't do much worse ....

Like for a college team....

Like every successful college basketball coach started out without prior head coaching experience, Every outside hire before COA came here had prior college head coaching experience but couldn't get it done (or weren't given a proper chance). Just saying that prior college hc experience shouldn't be a requirement, especially considering past history here.

Still blows my mind that Nohra is coaching a girl's HS basketball team.

"Reggie Kohn Resigns From USF Men's Basketball Staff"

http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=7700&ATCLID=709921

"TAMPA, Fla.  -  University of South Florida Director of Men's Basketball Operations Reggie Kohn has resigned, citing personal reasons, effective immediately.

Kohn was in his first season with the Bulls.

"We regret that Reggie has decided to terminate his employment," head coach Robert McCullum said.  "We respect the personal reasons for which the decision was made.  It's always more difficult when you lose one of your own."

Was it ever revealed what were the 'personal reasons' for leaving USF?

Since then he has become a stellar HS BB coach with more than 300 career wins. In fact, he is currently nominated for FL HS coach of the year.

Anthony Grant has had multiple chances to be the head coach at USF and has said no each time; why is this time any different?

Is the Gulf Coast Offense adaptable to basketball? If so, I nominate Kinnan and Weist.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
