Yeah, I think we're mostly all leaning towards someone with some solid head coaching experience this time around.

I'll pass on him. At look at his coaching record indicates that the one thing he hasn't done is to improve a program. When he went to winning programs kept winning and when he went to a losing program (Central Michigan) he kept losing. He is a maintainer not a builder and we need a builder.

I believe he was only at CSU for two years though (and was fired for the racial incident).

Yeah and his mouth got him in trouble again recently by insulting a player from another team that he had to issue an apology to later. Hell to the no on this guy. If USF wants a HC that can't control his emotions or his mouth then they should go after Stan Van Gundy.

From the rumors, it looks like USF is looking. But the names aren't all that impressive.

I'm guessing Anthony Grant isn't on the list.

I am tired of USF going after the safe,  uncontroversial, "yes man" coaches. Some call it the USF way. It's time we find some one who can stir up the **** storm. I am not necessarily advocating for this guy, but I don't want a priest like coach either. Give me a bad ass who can get into people's faces who speaks his mind. Give me a young Bobby Knight.
