If you look at the pecking order he came into one of the bottom 10 programs and done what he needs to demonstrate hes ready to move up. We should feel fortunate we appear to have a home field advantage in getting him. Now if we land someone better, that's great. But it really hit me looking at the TV contract thread just how bad our conference is about to become and we may have our faces pressed up against the glass of the big boy table for a long time. If rumors are true and Taggart interviewed, but we're still interviewing Davis, Morris, etc. we must not be completely sold on him. I like being thorough, but in today's world if coaching if you find the right guy, you don't delay in signing him. This is on the Hiltopper Message Board. The thread is titled "Just In Case"! So it seems they are expecting the possibility is very real. It is 2 pages worth of postings.
