Here's the one thing I keep thinking... If rumors are true and Taggart interviewed, but we're still interviewing Davis, Morris, etc. we must not be completely sold on him. I like being thorough, but in today's world if coaching if you find the right guy, you don't delay in signing him.

That's not saying he's not the leader in the clubhouse, but still

I know this is almost unthinkable for some but it is possible that Taggart may not want the job ...

Not sure how true it is but I saw a headline on that 247 website that Taggart apparently has decided to stay at WKU. The suspense is killing me.

I dont see that anywhere on Google so it may just be somebody from Hilltopper Haven spreading garbage

There's a big difference between a headline and a user jumping to conclusions based on a few words on Twitter.

I think this might be a case where Taggart wants to see his team through their bowl game and USF not wanting to wait that long or simply hedging their bets with other options in case Taggart does decide to stay after the bowl game.

why does everyone keep insisting that's sorta the case. we all know its not, let's stop lying to ourselves. if that was the case we would've made an announcement that we've hired him and his full-time start date with USF is Dec.27th but he will be on double duty until that time.

Who says official interviews have even happened yet with any candidate? Nothing has been confirmed anywhere.....
