There will not be any changes until after the Black Friday game. I suspect we are winning at most 3 this season

He essentially had one very good class in 2014 and was more or less average after that.

I've heard the argument that 2020 shouldn't count since it was CJS' first year. But there are at least 8 coaches who were hired the year after CJS, took over a team worse than 4-8 and has accumulated more wins than CJS has in less time. And most of these are teams that are either in a smaller conference or are the small fish in a power conference. There's no reason, CJS shouldn't be able to recruit enough talent for us to win 5 or 6 games while playing in the AAC by now, and even that's setting a low bar.

Now, I'm not trying to compare us to these teams, I'm just saying there are a good amount of coaches who have just as hard (if not harder) job in rebuilding their respective teams in their respective conferences and have done more in less time. There's no excuse for, at game 25, us still looking like we've never seen a football field before.

You are missing Jeff Traylor at UTSA. The issue is not 2020, the issue is CJS is really bad at coaching so far.

Four wins seems like a miracle. The team has no fight , coaching is terrible, QB play is getting worse for 3 straight seasons. It seems the more time Jeff Scott spends coaching the team and building his vision of an offense the   worse team passing offense and team gets.

Maybe we court Curt Cignetti.  From the Saban tree and won first conference game, on the road, in first season after moving up to FBS.

How fast does CJS stop talking about the OCS knowing that he will never coach a game in it ?

Now we may have to just pray the indoor practice facility is hurricane proof.

Traylor was hired in 2020; I was focusing on coaches who were hired in 2021 that now have more wins than CJS to cut out the pandemic excuse. If we expand to 2020, I’m sure there’s a few others to make it more embarrassing.
