He got out coached.  Period

There seems to be a pattern in FBS football teams and Jeff Scott.

I cant see regardless of trying to stick it out to see a turning point. We realize that it again isnt this year. Off his record alone he should be fired and i mean no disrespect. I like the guy. We shouldnt accept losing. I would say he has to go at this point.

I'm really at a loss as to what kind of coach could turn this around.

If 2015 UCF can get turned around, I think these guys can.

Let’s see how ECU goes, but if we see more of the same it is time to move on.   1-21 are you kidding?    Insanity = doing the same thing and expecting a different result.  Really likable guy, but he just is not getting the job done.

I want CJS to fire his DC and hire Leavitt to save his ass.  xCJL tweets how he loves here in Tampa couple times.

1-21 and there are still ‘Branch Davidian’ style adherence to this joke of a coach after 3 years. I’m literally choking laughing and crying at the same time that people log into this MB to defend the 4% winning record. Burn it down, Waco style.

I've heard the argument that 2020 shouldn't count since it was CJS' first year. But there are at least 8 coaches who were hired the year after CJS, took over a team worse than 4-8 and has accumulated more wins than CJS has in less time. And most of these are teams that are either in a smaller conference or are the small fish in a power conference. There's no reason, CJS shouldn't be able to recruit enough talent for us to win 5 or 6 games while playing in the AAC by now, and even that's setting a low bar.

Now, I'm not trying to compare us to these teams, I'm just saying there are a good amount of coaches who have just as hard (if not harder) job in rebuilding their respective teams in their respective conferences and have done more in less time. There's no excuse for, at game 25, us still looking like we've never seen a football field before.

If the USF football was a sports bar, it would have already had a suspicious 'electrical incident' so that we could collect the insurance money on it.

Agreed.  Explaining Scott’s failures are a failure in search of an explanation. He is USF’s worst coach by any objective analysis in USF’s  history.  It will take his firing for some of you to acknowledge it but trust me, we’ll get there.

And imagine what it is going to look like next year? Replacing GB(if he is actually good), 3 starting OL, 2 starting LBs, I think Mangham is gone and then we'll see who transfers....

We are going to most likely have worse talent on the team next year.
