So how many losses will it take for Jeff Scott to learn to win 30, 40, or 50 losses? WE got another losing streak going! How many more losses do we need until we can say this isn't the guy to win here at USF!

Thought we already agreed back in the summer we wanted 6 or more wins this season. He only has about 3 more losses left to give. Go Bulls!

He needs wins against FBS opponents.   A win against an FCS HBCU team is just a tune up game.

Does Tulane run the option?  If so, that's one.

According to this article, it is not that expensive to fire Jeff Scott.   I do not know where they got their information, but if the debacle continues, USF cannot afford to NOT fire him.

Read about Jeff Scott’s South Florida contract and buyout details if he’s fired.

People have addressed this in the past. It isn't just that contract with Athletics. There are unpublished deals with the Foundation which aren't public.

Those deals are "unpublished" so unless someone has read the contract, it is just speculation that he gets the full value.   However, I thought it was odd that Jeff Scott would have signed a contract that was completely in USF's favor, since most coaches who suck always hold the universities hostage over their contract buyouts.

I should have gone in to coaching.  It would be great to suck at your job and you get a large sum of money when your employer eventually fires you for incompetence.

Not saying full value but there is more money out there.

Yeah, I agree with you.  It is probably some percentage that is high enough where the USF Foundation does not want to just throw their money away.

Now if the USF Foundation signed on a deal where Jeff Scott gets 100% of that money then the next time they ask me for a donation I am going to send them some coupons from those Val Pack envelopes I get in the mail every week.  😜

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
