We didn't need to win but had to atleast be competitive which it wasn't. 

Unless we go on some tear in the AAC (which is highly unlikely) he needs to be fired.

💯 No team from the state of Florida should be getting beat 41 to 3 by Louisville. It should at least be competitive

Our D is giving up an average of 35 points a game through 4 games. Elite in your face defense. C’mon man. Another snow job by USF.

Auburn is ready to fire their coach after 1-1/4 season. Just saying. It’s not the right answer but it’s the business. Giving Jeff another year is coming as many of you have said. Wait till next year.

As I’ve written in two other threads, today was another embarrassing moment, but this staff and its players will ultimately be judged by what happens in the league schedule. That starts next week. That’s where the rubber meets the road. If we get trampled in the AAC, we know exactly where we stand with this current regime.

I'd say that's a very accurate assessment. Preseason is over, we've played our obligatory practice-under-the-lights game and we've seen EXACTLY where we stack up against P-5 teams. Sure you wanna get into a P5 conference? Think it over...ya sure?  I don't think we're putting together a very good audition tape.:FIREdevil:

So, off to conference play it is.  Let's see how it shakes out. According to the analytics it would appear that we need to win two (dos..."both of"...a pair...deux, zwei ) conference games to rocket above last year's total by 100% We need to double our conference wins to sheepishly say "Well, let's talk improvement, 'cause you know our receivers blah-blah-blah and the offensive line blah, blah, blah and the defense as a whole blah, blah, blah". 

Not putting any chips on the felt. Just gonna watch.

Our rush defense and QB play are unforgivable.  I know the schedule has been insane, but our players seriously can't be this bad - half of our games have been decisively in-hand before halftime.  Substantial progress with winning needs to happen, or these guys need to go.
