What recruit is going to want to come here knowing CJS is pretty much a dead man walking?

I guess we will have to recruit the last chance kids and roll the dice

I’d be all about it. We are too conservative when hiring coaches and recruiting players these days

Giving him a contract extension should get Kelly fired also. There is ZERO hope CJS is going to turn this dumpster fire around.

He was trying to keep a tradition? Giving extensions to coaches that don’t deserve them

It was a very poor move. We need folks to stop leading out of fear. If he was poached that would have been fine. If his contract had ended that would have been ok. There really wasn’t a bad outcome in either option. The worst thing we could have done was prematurely extend him. But these are the cards we were dealt so let’s go

Was wondering if he makes it through the year. For those of you at home that’s 1 W to 21 losses. Thanks coach for delivering the goods.

I have lost all hope in him. But unless you have money for his buy out, think he stays for rest of season at the very least

The precision is remarkable if only we could do something about the accuracy

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
