The new rules will allow athletes to profit by monetizing social media accounts, signing autographs, teaching camps or lessons . . . Athletes will be allowed to sign with agents or other representatives to help them acquire endorsement deals.

 

WOW - I wonder how this will affect things like fan fest among other things.  Why would a USF football player sign autographs with the team when they could sell them

Can we pay a USF player to be the official player of TBP?

If we can pay $500,000, I imagine our recruiting will pick up next year.

My thoughts are no one would pay unless there is a legit Heisman or NFL type guy - and that’s ok, too many “collectors” gathering them for hopeful resale.  But, the excitement my sons had getting autographs was fun.  If I had to pay, I would probably have done one and took my kids to Busch Gardens.
