Mark it down. They’ve created a monster that will be used to build recruiting advantages. It’s inevitable. College sports? A mess and getting worse. The gap between the haves and have nots just got wider. The solution? Make the pro leagues all create minor league systems so any kid that doesn’t want to go to college can just turn pro and be done with it.

thats true also, but at least it was somewhat of a level playground.  Now its an uphill battle for most programs
