I can't believe I'm somewhat defending Charlie

I get chills, bad chills, thinking of what we saw from both of them in their limited time last year.

Oladokun had a 122.6 rating last year in his limited time as a sophomore.

McSorley for Penn State had a 124.6 rating and is now with the Ravens in the NFL

Burrow the all world QB from LSU had a 133 rating last year

Agreed, neither of them were all that good. They certainly did not have the IT factor...

CCS is just not a very good head coach. He became a hot commodity because of Bridgewater. He’s only had 3 good seasons in his head coaching career, two were with Bridgewater and one with Flowers. As we all witnessed, the season with Flowers was despite his coaching not because of it.

The thing dooming Charlie is poor recruiting and bad development of talent. He's been in the 70's nationally recruiting and this year he has a bottom 25 caliber team. Even with facilities not great, should not be posting 4-6 place recruiting classes in this conference.

Well said.  And let’s not forget the shady recruiting of Clint Hurtt bringing all those players from Miami to the Ville.

Chuckles caught lightning in a bottle with Bridgewater and rode that all the way to a sweet multi million dollar waterfront in S Tampa.

Part of the problem is that too many people think that our **** don't stink. We can't build an OCS unless it's $250 million, or an indoor practice facility unless it's $40 million.  We have been our own worst enemies.

And this is certainly also true concerning areas besides facilities ...

This is true.  The more football we play, the more QBs get season ending injuries.
