    I was at the game. He played it poorly but I also think he was positioned wrong as he was way off the line and so was the left fielder. It was a 3-2 count with 2 outs so the runner was moving on the pitch. If we protect the line and the ball goes through the hole, the runner would still have been held at 3rd. Once it got by him down the line, there was no way the left fielder was going to get to the ball in time.

    I remember after we didn’t make it on 3rd down, I turned to say something my friend. When I turned back towards the field, I was shocked to see that we were kicking a FG.

    Football stadiums should be oriented N-S to minimize players being blinded by the sun. That’s why announcers say the ball carrier has to stop going E-W and start running N-S.

    When Knightro realized what he was doing he turned his hand down and my other grandson, who is a UCF fan (his parents), came in to join him. Can’t show that because the boys faces can be seen.

    After giving Knightro five, my 6-yr old grandson went Horns Up and Knightro quickly responded.

    I think it’s both Weatherford coming in and Genshaft leaving. I’m trying to figure out where all this money is coming from lately for facilities. The one thing that makes sense to me is that Judy had declared certain resources off limits to Athletics as she was tapping them for Academics. No inside information, just my opinion.

    We were turned away from the Club parking lot a couple of times this year because it was full and we are there at least an hour before the game. Sorta like the line from Seinfeld, “You know how to take the reservation but you don’t know how to hold the reservation and that really the most important part.”

    BYU is the outlier because our poor execution and play calling gave them 28 pts to start the game. Who knows what their pace on offense would have been because we wouldn’t let them go slow.

    Same with me. The school has broken my spirit. Is just competing our new measure of success? I’ll continue to buy my season tickets and go to the games but I no longer will watch road games live because I don’t have to. Fast forward saved me in the Louisville and ECU games. God willing, I’ll be here for the turnaround, whenever that occurs. What will occur first? The football turnaround or a basketball team that shoots at least 70% from the line.

    While the XP snap was a little slow, the kick was blocked because the Bengal on the left wing chased the wide guy instead of protecting the inside gap. Same thing happened when FSU blocked the LSU XP. Basic rule is to always protect the inside gap because it’s the shorter path.
