Listening to the CCS presser, I think he’s fine with the constant runs up the middle, because he feels if you do it enough eventually Cronk will break one.  While that has been true against ECU, UMass Tulsa etc, it won’t fly against the teams on the back end of this schedule.  We must open things up.

Could apply to Houston though, but I agree not Cincy or Temple.

We saw them really open up the offense vs UCF in last game last year...and it was open vs Gtech so at times Gilbert knows vs better teams he has to open up the offense but vs bad teams he is really happy just playing mostly conservative.

He better against Cincy and Temple I just read a stat that they have #5 and #6 top defenses in the nation.

Against mediocre teams. Do we forget how we are a top 25 offense? We play crappy teams. We call it stat padding in gaming. Seal clubbing if you will and we're not even good at it.

We need a better QB coach. Barnett isn't getting better. The offense would be looking a lot better with improved QB play.

I think the O-Line is a major part of his problem...shore that up and he is just fine

Inept and totally unimaginative.

And yet still averages 500 yards a game and well over 30 points a game for 2 straight years.

Threw the ball 47 times last night versus 40 runs ..... Looks mostly balanced to me.

Holy crap both sides of the ball looked bad. And what is this, going on 3 years we can't block on kicks? Pathetic.

This is only the coaching staffs second year... your math is perplexing
