I thinks it's an issue with the QB and the offensive line, not the play calling. The coaches job to get the Oline executing and also to train the QB to make good decisions. 

Tulsas QB had lots of time to throw and scrambled or got sacked only after many seconds and no one being open.

Barnett scrambled and was sacked because our Oline collapsed before the receivers can even make it 5 yards. 

Also Barnett had some terrible passes that were no where close to the target.

I think it is playcalling and philosophy.  I don't think Tulsa's o linemen are vastly more talented than our guys and I think if we put Barnet playing for mouse town u he is putting up video game numbers.  Maybe not like milton, but pretty good

Gilbert is awful. He’s to worst coach from the Briles tree. Least creative version of “Veer & Shoot” in the country. I’m done with this staff as a whole

If you think that, you don’t understand the offense. The offense is based on half field reads, meaning there is no 2nd or 3rd read unless it’s trips. Not only that, but when was the last time you saw a dig route, post, corner, etc. there are no reads. It’s 4 verticals or run up the middle.
