We basically need to hire somebody the USF Athletics budget can't afford. The person would then bring in more money than the department pays him/her -by many folds.

If we go cheap, it's going to be a yawn-hire. 😴

I need to hear more about him. Being related to the greatest man in USF history is not enough for me. In all honesty I have never heard his name mentioned once in the media or on this board in any capacity. Hell, I did not even know he worked at USF. Has he had success dealing with alumni? Again, I think this would be a hire based on a name. Now, if people can tell me the amazing job he has done and has done incredible things then I will change my mind...but I just don’t see it here...looks like a save $ move and a gimmick by name association.

That's probably because he didn't ........ If we can get Jurich, get him. If a no go, I've seen nobody mentioned, realistically, with any sizzle that tells me they can climb the huge mountain here.

Bad?? Are you kidding me? The karma there is overwhelming ..... if not Jurich, make this happen .... unless there's another candidate out there that has had success dealing with an alumni base like USF's, in an area like Tampa Bay.

I seem to remember someone's son not working out well for us even though he had the previous chops and the name to go with it... Karma goes both ways.

Every male hire USF has ever made has been someone's son ...... and that's basically the only similarity in these two situations.

Does Mr. Brooks even want to work full time for someone else? He seems more like he is investing his time and money.

Obviously. Skip was infinitely more qualified for his job when he was hired.

Exactly, and we see how USF chewed him up and spit him up. May need to adjust my  Jurich choice as too obvious a good pick. Push Zac to the top of my list.
