The Iowa State AD has a refreshing amount of candor. He also probably let the cat out of the bag: TX and OK didn't want expansion so it didn't happen.

I think the Iowa State's of the conference - and that's a lot of them - know they're just kicking the can down the road. They better invest the $$$ they're getting now well. The only hope they have is the ACC's GOR expires and they can poach, because they're not poaching anyone else.

Okay... They need 8... Assume UT and OU did not want to expand and are just waiting out GOR. Who would be the third to object to expansion? I suspect Oklahoma State. Or did the whole Texas block get behind TU? 

 

Aggies and Mizzou are popping bottles right now as a second celebration for their departure from the big 12 after today's reports.

The B12 is by far the biggest disaster of any conference. I'm glad someone spoke the truth because without OU and Texas they'd get very little money. The others schools are at the mercy of whatever Texas and OU want.

Just stop.  You told us all last week that you heard things and there were smiles on people's faces, and we just need to wait and see.  

I'm on my phone and don't have the patience to dig up all your posts to this effect, but it's clear you have absolutely no idea about anything regarding any sources related to USF athletics.  You're pretty much on the same level as Dude of WV and Tuxedo Yoda.

So basically Iowa State AD said we like the status quo and feel lucky to be in a conference with Texas and Oklahoma bc if they leave we are nothing. How short sighted of him/them to just play along....
