Give me a break.  His employer and ESPN owe a lot of people an apology.  Threatening legal action and threatening to not renew contact talks if the Big 12 elected to use it's contractual rights to expand are probably the two biggest reasons why expansion ultimately failed.  This is all part of their goal to end up with 4 super-conferences, saving them money in future tv rights negotiations.

Thats why you never bank on ANYTHING. Especially when the train-wreck of a conference known as the Big 12 is involved
