Hi Guest,

Just a note to point out our TBP-initiated drive to raise funds for the Bulls Football IPF - doing our share, and more.  Please consider donating at least $23 to the effort, and passing on to others as well.  You can read more about the project at the link above.

  1. Now Kelly has to go find us something good for 2022 and 2024. This sucks, but hopefully we turn lemons into lemonade...
  2. Saw this article talking about how CBS and Showtime are now in the market for live sports to broadcast on it's streaming platforms. To late for us this round, but will only help us down the road as more of these platforms look for content to fill space with. Just a matter of time before Apple/Netflix/HULU/CBS/Prime and others grab some of the college football market... http://www.darkhorizons.com/cbs-to-pump-8-billion-into-streaming/ P.S. only 16 weeks till college football starts!
  3. Like it or not, much of the college football fan-base watches Gameday... and UCF looks great today on TV. USF has to do better!!
  4. 4 straight years of ticket growth... but wish we would have hit 20K this year.
  5. it was 60.00 when I ordered mine... they just jacked it up 15.00 more...
  6. Berns 16 ounce Ribeye comes with soup salad 2 vegetables (unlimited, you just need to ask for more) baked potato with all the fixings for 47.90 Berns is the best priced high-end steakhouse period. The atmosphere might be a bit old fashioned, but considering what your complete dinner gives you compared to what the ala-cart price would be for all this food at Capitol Grill, Charley's or Ruth Chris to name a few, it's an outstanding bargain. and the dessert options....
  7. The coaches polo was a bit tight (felt like a tennis fit)... the standard Adidas polos are fine.
  8. Realignment will move where the money is... It's moving away from cable subscribers an more towards individual schools and the fan bases they can bring. Long-term, I see distributors like Google, Amazon, Netflix even ESPN and others charging two hundred dollars a season to watch our games. bigger fan bases will pull in more revenue, and schools like Rutgers lose even more value to a conference. My opinion, but changes are coming, and that can only mean more opportunity for USF. I would rather be USF than Iowa State long-term...
  9. https://sports.yahoo.com/cord-cutting-can-change-entire-landscape-college-football-215556228.html Interesting article about how Big Ten could get real hurt by losing Comcast, and how schools like Rutgers quickly becomes dead weight for a league. The landscape is changing, and that could only mean more opportunity for USF
  10. I'm so looking forward to the retro Run DMC USF jump suite... This just, needs to be made...
  11. IQiyi stock gains after company says it's obtained broadcasting rights to the four golf majors MarketWatch•June 18, 2018 Shares of Chinese streaming company iQiyi Inc. are up 4.4% in Monday morning trading, marking a continuation of the stock's impressive June rally, after the company said it has obtained the broadcasting rights to the four golf majors. IQiyi shares are now up 70% so far in June. The company said it has become "the largest source for professional golf live streaming and video information in China" after acquiring the rights to the U.S. Open tournament. Just another sign that streaming companies are going after broadcasting rights of live major sporting events.
  12. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/cracks-are-forming-in-the-pac-12-will-they-be-patched-before-its-too-late/ P12 and B12 are both having issues we wish we had!
  13. Went to USF Bookstore site, but they don't seem to have them up yet...
  14. Story about cracks forming and the possibility of the PAC-12 not making it long-term. Could this be the start of the P4? https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/cracks-are-forming-in-the-pac-12-will-they-be-patched-before-its-too-late/
  15. My understanding is you will be able to go online and make a wager anywhere in the USA... NO state limitation. You are going to be able to pull up an app at a game and make a wager. It's going to get very interesting in the next few years.
