Being totally honest when I say that he'd be pretty dumb to leave now considering he could demand a lot more money after next year with the team we have coming back. Team is loaded in a weak conference. He could easily win 10-11 games next year and have multiple suitors for his services. Sure we had a good year this year but I don't think 2-10, 4-8, 8-4 gets you 3-4 mil per year. He hasn't won anything here. He wins next year and he's gone for sure unless we double his salary or something.

We will definitely lose some recruits over this. We will lose many recruits over the next couple of years if he actually takes the job.

A little levity amongst all the hand wringing that I ran across while trying to actually confirm this rumor:

On Twitter conversation about Les Miles stepping down at LSU and taking the UCF job: "That would be like President Obama leaving the White House to become president of my HOA."

He is just making a play for more money.  Remember the discussion we had about offering him an extension a couple of weeks ago?  Some of you scoffed at the idea of giving him a raise or wanted to put all kinds of conditions on it.  

He will get an extension on his terms not out of the goodness of anyone's heart.

Everyone is freaking out, if I was his agent I would be loving it.

Could SCAR offer him a deal too good to pass up?  I hope not but so it goes.

This is a fair statement, but people can still think it is a suck situation to be in.  I can get the situation while simultaneously not liking it and feeling butt hurt about it.

This does not help recruiting during a time when recruiting is important.  It does not help the team prepare for a bowl game.

Great for CWT, but I still think this is bad for the program right now.
