I'm pretty sure Allen is gone. It's hard to get a good steal in the coaching biz, but at this time I think he might fit that criterion.

 

Now I know a few of you guys subscribe to the 247 board and I know we (meaning this site/board) take a lot of heat over there, but **** that place looks silly. It's kinda sad too, especially as a representation of our fan base. Paying for little to no information, and really not getting much quality content is absurd.

For those that say Tom Allen is easily replaceable (i.e. - SMazza, etc.), that is probably the most ridiculous statement I have seen. Probably the same knuckleheads that want to keep Antigua employed.

I wonder if USF can grab a great DC with Taggart's larger budget?

Really not sure who we'd make a run at. Looking around the Bullsosphere I see names, but there meh to me so far.

Not sure I was completely sold on the scheme. I did not like that some of our best athletes were LBs who never got on the field but again with most teams using 3 plus WR sets I dont see how we wont continue playing it even if we move back to 4-3

I didn't think we would be able to keep Willie and Allen for another season but I was really hoping for it. Now next season is a question mark for me.

 That should not be, at least not until we see who we get to replace Alan. Who knows, the replacement may even be better.
