Pretty sure eveld will start.

 

At this point I would tend to agree.  Don't forget Holtz was faced with the same choice (prior to the Miami game) last year and burned Eveld's redshirt to start him over Floyd.

Pretty sure ronnie's stats are better than Floyds and comparable to eveld.

If you can believe it, Banks' stats were even worse than Floyd's last year.  But stats don't tell the whole story - Banks was soul-crushing to watch.  Neither Eveld nor Floyd (or even Julmiste for that matter) have ever given me the same sort of horrible desperation that Banks did.

Banks 8td and 8ints is simultaneously bettet and worse than floyds 0td and 5int.

Just excrement in either case.

And in '04 he threw for 0 TD and 3 INTs before finally getting jumped by Julmiste.  We quickly forget how bad the situation can be, we've been very spoiled to have had two back-to-back star (if not flawed) QBs.

I would agree I rather have boring than a turnover machine so give me Eveld to win now.

 

I think Bench once he learns the offense will be your starter later in the year.

Ruh roh! This is a very bad situation to be in. I really hope Bench gets the nod. Reason for this is just because he is not Floyd or Eveld... not the best reason I know, but both of these guys have proven themselves unworthy of starting from past performances. I understand Bench hasn't played much and we don't have much video of him, but I am yet to see any reason why not to start him.

Eveld gets the start, but Floyd is in by the 2nd qtr.  Bench starts week 3.
