Greg has asked him about this and he said that would not be an option.  They will select one QB and move on.

If "familiarity with the offense" is the only thing keeping eveld/floyd ahead of white and bench, then their careers will be over by october if not sooner.

The closer we get to the season, the more i feel mike white might end up ultimately being the starter. And as crazy as it seems-- maybe not-- but it looks like bench is actually the number 4 guy rite now. I mean, how much more different is taggarts offense compared to penn states? A little bit but cant be that much.

To me right now it sounds like eveld and floyd wont do. Once white understands enough of the playbook, this team is his

I really hope this is a tactic to light a fire under these QB's...otherwise we are in trouble at that position.

 

Remember the game plan this guy put together for the Bama game, he is a true mastermind.

This is no tactic.  What you see is what you get with these guys.  Don't expect Floyd or Eveld to look any better than last year.

Just start Floyd and give him and Bench each a half in the first game. Whoever performs better is the starter.

 

Eveld is 3rd string IMO. Redshirt White.

That's my train of thought too. I can't believe none of the 3 guys (excluding White), hasn't stepped up by now and taken the job. It has to be one of the easiest BCS team jobs to win in the country. Horrible sign with only 10 days left.

They both suck, but he will go with Eveld. Taggart wants to win the turnover battle and Floyd makes some dumb decisions and looks to throw the deep ball whenever he gets a chance. Taggart is all about the quick 3 step drop passes.

Agree with Hem. While I'm sure Coach T isn't thrilled with who he has, I have to hope/think that part of this is to try to light a fire under one of them these next couple days.

I have to think he sat down with one of these guys and explained he's tops but he really wants him to separate himself to win the job.
