What's your USF football expectation meter this year?

We all judge the team and the coaching staff after the season. What would be your standards for the following?

I see the 2 above as "should win".  Other than that it is just "let's hope for the best".  To this point I haven't followed Houston, SMU and Memphis so I don't have a clue on those games.  But don't see us winning any of the rest (@RU,@UConn usually doesn't turn out well for us - would feel differently if they were @ home).  So anything over 5 is OK by me.  Won't be shocked with 3 wins again. Would be delighted with 7 or more.

6-6 is my baseline. Quaterback situation is terrible, Willie T essentially has a free pass in my book this year. Hope to make a bowl game, show the fans something to be hopeful about for future years. Potentially land some better recruits to build the program back up.

From what I have heard, I would expect that we will be a blue collar team that bows to no one.  I also expect that before the games our guys will get on the bus and get comfortable being uncomfortable.   At the games I expect us to fill that stadium up and do something.  In the end I expect that noooobody will have it better than us.  I think that about sums it up.

Really just comes down to the offense.  CWT has to transform the whole offense around  to his style so I could see us winning

4-5 games but if Shaw tears it up and the QB plays well I could also see winning 7-8 games.

Not to derail this thread, but do you guys see Shaw tearing anything up? The kid is 5'9 and 170lbs, no way he runs through anyone. I think we will see our bigger guys: Pierre, Tice, and McCray just as much if not more than Shaw

 

 

CWT said the other day he was really impressed with Shaw so who knows.  He also said good things about Pierre I think.  I don't care who we have at RB if just one of these guys can be a good back I am fine with that.

Expect a 5 win season. 4, maybe. Anything more than 5 and I'm pleased.
