Interesting theories here about Goach losing the team.  I did notice something odd on Saturday.  When the team came out before kickoff amid all the flames and cheers, they seemed to be running slower than usual and not one player made it all the way down to the student wall.  Maybe 10 or 12 made it to that endzone to basically take a knee and pray.  It did seem like something was off from the usual enthusiasm between the players and the students.

Yessir, if USF's athletic performance were set to music, it would have to be an old country song.

Here's my Monday morning perspective... Michael Kelly made two back-to-back hires in football that have no head coaching experience and require on the job training. There is also a real possibility that he passed up on a coach that just whooped our ass. The only thing Michael Kelly is doing successfully is providing a springboard for inferior programs to surpass USF.

One of the odd things I noticed Saturday was both qb's and a couple other players and a coach all going in the medical tent at the same time. Brown and Archie looked like they were going to a party.

It's not the loss like said that's troubling...it's how the team looks so uninspired at start, sloppy...we look worst these 2 last games than first game.  Something is going on behind closed doors with this team and its not good.  This team isn't buying into CAG from what I see maybe cause the players know the OC and DC arent good coaches...they know we need to adjust and they aren't...the result is players start quitting.

Then they need to have a players meeting and elect some leaders to interface with coaches.

It's a two way street

Six years ago the University hired an AD with no experience in running a successful athletic department.  When it was time to make his first major hire said AD decided to hire an unproven HC with no experience and no real OC experience.  After this hire flames out in epic fashion said AD decides to go and hire another unproven HC with no experience and questionable OC experience.  Failed leadership at all levels.

And we wonder why we’re in the state we are.

100% spot on, but what about his acc connections that are so valuable?

With the transfer rules, isn’t it harder to not lose the team? Have they tightened those up yet?  At the moment of adversity or failure it’s so easy to be a quitter, it seems.  As long as you can move on next year.

Don't forget about the AD extending said Football HC after a 3-18 start as well as the Basketball HC after a 64-89 tenure as well as the rest of the underperforming athletic department. No one brings out or rewards failure quite like VPMK.

Exactly! Basically those that are already calling for CAG’s head are making a point that he still needs more time to continue building his own team.
