He would have smart enough to offer Law a high ranking position, and let her do fundraising/get the OCS built. However, she bleeds green and gold, and will do well. Maybe we can nickname the new OCS the “House Of Law”? lol Go Bulls

We’re going to need a new Provost soon, so maybe he would take the job. Regardless, I like that Law is emphasizing the OCS. Quick story about the OCS - I was at a banquet this past weekend, and I had a conversation with an Accounting professor from Webber International University. It’s a small school (700 students) located in Babson Park, just outside of Lake Wales in Polk County. They have had a football team for about 15-20 years that plays in the NAIA. After sharing a football stadium with Warner Southern University, Lake Wales High School, and youth football programs, Webber recently opened an OCS (although calling it a stadium might be a stretch). What caught my attention, and the reason why I’m mentioning this, is that she told me that since they opened their OCS, there has been an increase in school spirit, and alumni have been more engaged. I was impressed that an academic made this comment. To me, it’s a good example of why USF needs an OCS. I think that Law can get it done.
