That too. We were told announcement would be summer.  Then we were told the fall. Calendar wise it is still summer but we are in the Fall semester.

I'm pretty sure the rumors re: Groundbreaking IPF were possibly in the Spring. That was March 20th=Nope. Then Summer June 20 was rumored to be the time period=Nope. Ah...must be in the Fall September 22 ?? Never know..Could be ??  Get that ribbon and golden shovels ready....

As part of the official announcement on February 20, 2021 ....

Timeline:
            This Spring – renovations to preexisting facilities in the Lee Roy Selmon Athletics Center are scheduled to begin following the completion of spring football practice and are slated to be completed prior to the start of fall football camp for the 2021 season.
 
            This Summer – construction on the Indoor Performance Facility is set to begin this summer and is slated for completion prior to the start of fall football camp for the 2022 season.
