Any word on how many season tickets we have sold so far? Saw UCF tweeted out a week ago that they've sold 24,446 season tickets so far:

Pretty sure it’s not 24k

As seen on twitter per PFF, they also have a pre-season all-American QB in Dillon Gabriel.  And a nationally known coach. I'm not sure who or what is supposed to be drawing the fans to RJS...  Hopefully we soon have some standouts and some Ws to help out.

Did some googling and found this https://www.tampabay.com/sports/usf-bulls/2019/08/05/usf-season-ticket-sales-holding-steady-in-2019/

In 2019 by August 1st we had sold 15,158 season tickets (about the same as the year before). But also 3,143 group tickets, 1,020 multi game ticket packages, and 1,251 single game tickets.

That was with BYU and Wisconsin on the schedule. With FAMU and UF the single game tickets will be way up, but based on that i'm pretty confident we aren't touching 20k season tickets

Does UF have to buy season tickets to get into the game? Isn’t that the way we did it when FSU came to town a few years back?

This isn’t a real charity it’s sports entertainment.

It's a combination of both and depending on which you consider it more of is what mostly colors your opinion on the matter.

If you don’t do well in the classroom on an education scholarship they will pull your scholarship, if you don’t do well in athletics and they need to fill the spot they will pull your scholarship even if you are getting straight A’s. If it were a charity they would be concerned about getting the best students or the most in need of educational support but that’s not a very big factor at all and if you have made the rules where your scholarship is for a year and subject to renewal no matter what your academic standing is then you can’t really cry that people aren’t being charitable enough when you are not quite AAC material either (which is a shockingly low standard to at least be mediocre at).

Without googling, I couldn't tell you who their coach is.

Did not win a national title, they won it 3 years before he was there. He lost the championship his first year, then they changed the rules about hurry up offenses, and he's lost at least 4 games in 7 straight seasons since. In 5 of those 7 seasons he lost at least 5 games
