Wackos can only be second in charge they can’t be first, obviously

Have you ever heard of Mike Leach?

You’re cemented in.  Enjoy.

Well that could be true…he could have also done something stupid again during one of his tantrums.

Competition is tough professor.

Hey, I am not arguing the case at all. Yeah, it could have all been BS for all I know. But a HC should know not to put themselves in that situation or try to control in the investigation. He knew Brett was looking as well. Why not just make peace? Did CJL not have it in him?

Looking?  Remember the n-word controversy McMurphy tried?  You are smarter than this. He “had it in for him” rightly to protect his program and players.

I think we really missed the “boat” on not hiring him to coach from the Pirate ship, he probably would have paid us to do it. I’m not sure if we would have won more but at least it would have been fun and we would finally have a reason to have a pirate ship in our stadium.

I think it’s funny that people try to argue that he hasn’t done something since he has left you would think jobs at Oregon, the Niners, FSU etc and being a DC at multiple stops is a whole hell of a lot closer to head coach at USF (especially at this point) than we have come to getting back to that horrible plateau

And yet we continue to hire inexperienced coaches and HOPE to catch lightning in a bottle again.

The plea for support is 10-15 years late.  We sacrificed any opportunity to continue growth.  Now it’s a fingers crossed crapshoot.  Hope we get lucky.

That borderline "wacko" has landed multiple nice gigs since he left here.

We’ve beaten this one to death before. My point was, he has not been hired as a head coach since, even with the remarkable job he did at USF. He’s been a vagabond, moving from assistant job to assistant job. Six jobs in 10 years. Must be a reason, right? That Kansas State job should have been a no-brainer, huh?

But usually skill. That’s why Alabama keeps the efforts separate.
