This year they should scrap the playoffs and just go to all exhibition bowl games for teams that want to keep playing ..

They should but money talks and BS walks. The only silver lining is that we picked a good year to have our worst year.

True dat ..... but if there's ever a year for an asterisk beside the official title of National Champion this is it.

Oklahoma ranked ahead of Cincy for the CFP rankings show. Herbstreit said an Oklahoma team (that lost to 4-6 K State) improved as the season went on, and went on to say Cincinnati’s strength of schedule was too weak. Then you look at Ohio State that played no one, except for Indiana and Northwestern, gets a CFP bid.

My CFP board would be this:

1. Alabama

2. Clemson

3. Notre Dame

4. A&M

5. OSU

6. Cincinnati

These so called playoffs are tired, who in the hell wants to see Alabama and Clemson play for the National Championship AGAIN or watch ND and OSU get smoked in the semis.....if they don’t do something soon they will start to bleed fans.

Too late fans are already tuning it out. The so called committee changes the rules every year as a way to justify putting the same teams in year after year. At this stage if it stays at 4 the g5 would be better off having their own playoff

And who did Indiana and Northwestern play?  Indiana’s best wins were against teams who wound-up with losing records and same for Northwestern.  The big 10 and big 12 were both subpar this year

ND looked horrendous yesterday - I get that the regular season is important, but isn’t it also important to finish the year strong?

If there was ever a year for the committee to include a team from the American, this was it

Hopefully Aresco crows loud and long tomorrow (not that it will change anything)

Extremely boring. I tuned into the first couple CFPs, but Bama v Clemson is a dead horse at this point, and the CFP Selection committee is the one beating it.

I guess I can spend my time watching something original instead.
