Stays in Florida, head coach, I think FSU shouldn’t have fired him. I believe Taggart will be a great coach because he has the right mindset. He’s never once had less wins than the year before. He’s still young. I’m rooting for him. Edited December 12, 2019 by Gismo

Those that said he’s never coach again at the FBS level as a HC are still chewing on sour grapes over his departure. Taggs was always going to be a HC next season. Hope we beat them next season because he’s going to be gunning for us and he may have a more talented roster at this point in time than we do tbh. Lane left a monster team for him. He will have to prove that he can not only rebuild, also maintain. Lane reloaded pretty well during his tenure. I think Willie will grow as a coach and may quiet a lot critics, if he does well

Wellll... when he came here we and he had done better the season before, at Oregon he has done better here, at FSU they did better the year before he got there and his final year he had fewer wins than the first year but other than that if you said he did better in his following years when compared just to him and the school he started at everything was correct. Oh and his 2nd and third year at western Kentucky were the same so that’s not exactly improvement but once again still kind of correct. Its a good thing we hired CJS because that statement right there shows how far this program has sunk. But we have always had trouble with FAU thru the years. I remember back in 2007 watching us squeek out a win over them in that old high school stadium. That was the week before we stomped ucf 64-12. That was Lockhart Stadium that you are talking about. Much more of a scare than expected against Howard Schnellenberger's FAU team which we entered in the Top 10 I believe. Willie actually managed to lose to FAU back in 2013, 28-10.
