FAU: Willie Taggart’s contract with the Owls is 5-years at $750k annually with an annual retention bonus of $25k. Other incentives include for top ten final finish ($100k), Conference title appearance ($20k) and winning the league ($40k), and going to a bowl game ($30k).

Wow they got a great deal. I think it’s a win-win. He gets to rehab his career and they get a solid coach.

Solid coach?  You know we're not supposed to romanticize our experiences with prior coaches.

Yep, just like Lane Kiffen did.  "And" he inherits a pretty good team (have no idea what they are losing from this team).

It should be a fun trip down to Boca Raton this year with the story lines.  I haven't been there since they played in that old High School stadium.  I know their OCS is supposed to be pretty nice.  Smallish but nice.

The FAU on-campus stadium is very nice. It seats about 32,000. I went to three games two years ago when] I was a math tutor for FAU football players. The team was lucky to draw 15,000 for a home game. I expect  more than half of the crowd at the USF-FAU game on September 26 to be wearing green and gold!

Actually for the next 4 years....he will be making 85% of his FSU salary.

I still find it hard to believe that FAU and UCF have on-campus stadiums and we don't! FAU is also building a football training facility right next to their football stadium.
