We have had good kickers for years before him. The guy got kickers who were not even great at their small schools. The man did not recruit kickers. He deemed it unworthy of his time and now it shows.

Agreed...but I am talking about in game actions....this one is on a few players who can't finish when the spotlight is on them....

Coby Weiss was automatic last year.  Hit 15 or his last 16 field goals.  He makes at least one of the 4 FG's.

The offense just needed to do a little more. The defense basically did nearly everything you could’ve wanted them to do. The missed fgs of 50 & 53 yards, those are offensive failures. The 43,33 are on the kicker, 43 is a long kick but many decent kickers can make that.

Generally good offenses don’t have to take multiple 40+ yards fg attempts in a game.

It's DEFINITELY not on the defense that's for sure.

Weiss has the same problem he has no range beyond 40. I dont think weiss would have missed the 33 yarder that could have potentially won the game but he wouldn't make the 50+ yarder. Strong should know what his kicker can do and should either go for it on 4th or punt.
