The same people blaming CCS for tonight's outcome would have blamed him if he DIDN'T go for the FGs when he did.

You are correct DJ. Strong can't kick a FG.

I'm confused. The kicker missed 4 kicks. Granted three were super long. Make the shorter kick at the end and the game goes to overtime. What are you talking about?

The real problem is strong can't recruit. Not having a kicker is on him. Plus, his current recruiting class was bad to begin with and it's falling apart.

The 2 50+ yard attempts were unjustifiable since he has never been close at USF on anything over 35 yards (aka 0 fer). Gotta hit the 33 yarder.

Definitely cant stand strong but man I feel like we are closer than we were early in the year. Defense playing well against some good conference teams the past couple weeks. We just cant find a way to win man. Kills me. This game tonight was Fing painful.

I don't think Strong gained "sympathizers" tonight, at least not me, but I refuse to cast blame where its not warranted.  Strong tried to win a football game tonight.  He went for points.  He didn't turtle up like he did last game.  

I'm tired of the CCS era too but let's be real.  He trusted this kicker and the kicker let him, the team and the fans down.  I have a feeling the kid just doesn't have the cojones to get it done under the lights.  And please stop with the garbage about "he's never made one from 35+."  STOP IT.  Every kicker starts out that way and makes his first long distance kick, or he doesn't.  Obviously he's able to or CCS doesn't run him out there with the game on the line.  

CCS has already done enough on his own to warrant USF to move on.  We don't need to place a reason on him that doesn't belong.

I don't think he is a good coach I just don't see how this game is on him. Players choked...missed INT, missed FGs, etc.
