GAME DAY vs. Cincinnati

USF continues a three-game homestand, its longest conference homestand since facing Miami, Louisville and West Virginia in consecutive BIG EAST home games to end the 2011 season. The Bulls have won 22 of their last 30 homes games. USF will spend the month of November in Florida, playing four opponents that all stand in the top half of The American. USF lost to three of those four opponents last season and also fell to a fourth, Memphis, the last time the teams met. The Bulls and Bearcats will be meeting for the 17th time, equaling UConn for USF’s most played opponent. USF has won three of the last four meetings, but fell, 35-23, last year in Cincinnati. The Bearcats have lost three straight in Tampa and last won in Tampa in 2011, posting a 37-34 victory.

VS. RANKED: This will be the third straight meeting, and sixth overall, in which at least one team has been ranked. USF has been ranked in four of those meetings and Cincinnati in three. The higher ranked team has won three of the previous five meetings in which teams were ranked. The Bulls are 11-26 vs. ranked teams, 0-4 under Charlie Strong.

TOP 10 WATCH: Senior RB Jordan Cronkrite enters Saturday’s game with 1,730 career yards, just 9 shy of the top 10 all-time at USF. Senior TE Mitchell Wilcox brings 1,285 career receiving yards and 92 receptions into the game, just 21 yards and 12 receptions short of the top 10 all-time at USF.

DISRUPTIVE DEFENSE: USF has posted a takeaway in every game on the season and has five games with two or more. USF’s 21 takeaways on the year equal last year’s total and rank third nationally. The Bulls rank fourth nationally in fumbles recovered (11) and 20th in interceptions (10). USF also stands third in the nation in tackles for loss (9.0). DE Kirk Livingstone ranks 11th nationally among defensive linemen in Pro Football Focus defensive grades (players playing at least 50% of snaps), while CB K.J. Sails stands 10th among cornerbacks.

SERIES: Cincinnati leads, 9-7, won 1 straight
IN TAMPA: USF leads, 5-3
IN CINCINNATI: UC leads, 6-2
LAST: UC won, 35-23, in 2018 in Cincinnati
USF VS. AAC: 29-24
AAC EAST GAMES: 18-6

Navy really rep'n the AAC today

It helps us keep things in perspective, somehow we are even worse than we thought, was not quite sure that was possible.

0-4 against ranked teams under Strong.

That's pathetic.

Check the record against teams above .500. Haven't checked it lately, and not interested enough to research it, but I'll bet it's more embarrassing

Yes. He beat a ranked Temple team, and maybe Navy
