It's on coaching if CCS told the kicker to miss so he can get buyout $ on his contract.  Absent that conversation, it's on the kicker.

It shouldn't have come down to a kicker ......

Had we gotten blown out I wouldn't have cared. But Cinci didn't show up tonight, we dominated the first half and found a way to lose what would have been a win against a ranked team. That's what made me so angry tonight. There were 100 ways to win this and we found the way to lose.

Ya, the kicker that has never made a FG beyond 38 yards. He should have only made one attempt, that final attempt.

Totally not the coaches fault for continuing to put him in a position beyond his capabilities. No way.

Agree...if he makes half of the kicks that last kick wouldn't have been critical....this was solely on the kicker tonight...everyone else executed....nothing else to say...everyone is really angry but that's it...kicker gotta do a better job...

Who?? Weiss sucks too. Weiss can’t kick over 30 yards. He did recruit any kickers. These kids came from small schools and had no track record of success. So again it  is his fault because he doesn’t take special teams seriously.

Weiss went 15 for 18 last year in FG's.  He would have hit at least 2 of those.

Try again.  Look at Weiss' stats from last year.

Our head coach kicker and qb suck that's just plain to see . I'm sorry I wish this wasn't true....also if the kids range is 38 yds he should have never been recruited. Clock management was just embarrassing , two guys flopping and calling a timeout

Really?  You also are intimately familiar with the most minute details on these kickers' abilities?

If Shrader makes one field goal he missed, it probably doesn't come down to the kicker ... At least on our end.

Why  not? Teams win that way every day.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
