Smart move on Charlie’s part. He figures it’s smarter to suspend Ford indefinitely allowing Ford to redshirt this season since we’re already in a deep hole. Essentially, he’s duplicating what Dana did in Houston thinking about the bigger picture next season. Charlie is smarter than we give him credit for.

I think it’s frustrating that we don’t know exactly what he did, along with some of the other players in the past, but why does it matter? Why do we need to know and what will it change? The people who matter most in the program and school know. FWIW, I’ve heard this wasn’t a Strong decision. Say what you want but him being out today did nothing to change the outcome. I just hope he fixes whatever is going on.

Strong said after the game that JF will have “steps he will have to complete” in order to get back playing. Thus, this might be a while. Further, this is the second time this year for the kid so again, I don’t see him back right away.

That's important for the team but even more important for Ford .......... and we don't need to know why but not knowing allows the rampant ******** in this thread. If you heard it may not have been Strong's decision, along with the “steps he will have to complete”, sounds like it could be academic.

That’s my thinking too...perhaps blowing off a class or two or missing work with tutor.

Well this thread was a ride. Love Ford (and ragging on CCS) as much as the next guy but nobody has a clue what the context was around this, reserve judgement until we get details.
