When I first saw it, it reminded me of those old Clip Art images the office manager would use to personalize a Happy Birthday emails.  They could have hired a freelancer for $200 to create a better logo.  If they were going to change the font, at least keep the same color scheme and the font is awful too.

The logo seems to go in the opposite direction of everything USF has been building its image to be... with the overwhelmingly negative public response, I can't imagine the university hasn't taken a step back to re-evaluate it.

No... you're not going to get away with that.  I remember when the Soflo uniforms first came out, actually the basketball team wore them first.  So nah... can't rewrite history, there was a big overreaction.  Everything from it looked like a box of crayons to highlighter.  So I call BS on your hyperbole. This decision was Judy’s Waterloo. Somehow someway staff/faculty must have been requesting a seperste brand for academics/university programs. Why? I have no idea. I have taught at five major research universities and none of them have separate logos or brands. But then to follow it up with an atrocious looking logo is beyond comprehension. You screwed up Judy on your way out the door...

I am still not a fan of the Sofo look...they look too soft for football. I don’t think Adidas made one for us this year so I doubt they return until maybe next year (I guess we still have the helmet thiugh).

It’s our black uniform on the left
